There is an easier and more efficient way to reach your real estate goals through Collaperty. We facilitate the collaboration that is essential to growing your real estate network, finding the right opportunities, filling funding gaps, and executing on investment opportunities.

1. Is actual money being raised?
No. At this time, when Investors invest on a deal they are showing their interest by pledging a dollar amount. No actual dollars are transferred through the site. However, this may change in the future as Collaperty is continuing to look into ways to make the investment process much simpler while keeping it secure for our members.

2. What happens after the investment round is complete?
If you reached your investment goal, you will receive a list of Investor’s info with the pledged amount.  You will then be able to contact these Investors who showed interest and take the next steps to raise the actual capital for your deal.  Collaperty is looking into ways to incorporate these next steps as integrated services. Until then, the Sponsor and Investors will need to complete the investment transaction offline.

3. Why do I need to be an accredited investor?
Current SEC regulations allow only accredited investors to view and participate on deals on Collaperty. However, there are new rulings that are in the process of being finalized that will allow non-accredited investors to invest a certain percentage of their income via a crowdfunding platform like Collaperty. Collaperty is closely following these regulations and will keep the community informed of any new developments.
